Abstract Title
Abstract
The following research depicts the attitudes of millennials towards technology, and more specifically 3D printing. Millennials will be the first generation to acclimate themselves to the changing technological landscape largely because of their fluidity and ease using various methods of technology in their everyday lives. 3D printing will begin to be a common practice for apparel production and will one day make the shift into consumer’s homes. 3D printing will fulfill the desire of millennials to incorporate mass customization into their everyday lives. This research is designed to explore the Millennial Generation’s attitudes towards 3D printing. Based on the anonymous voluntary survey that was emailed to students in various fashion and technology classes, a total of 114 completed surveys were returned. It is expected millennials with prior experience with 3D printing will be open to pay a fee as well as exhibit positive perceptions towards 3D printing.
