Advances in the Study of Information and Religion (Center for the Study of Information and Religion)
ASIR: Advances in the Study of Information and Religion is an online, open access publication available on the Kent State University Libraries Digital Commons. It contains select papers from the annual Conference on Information and Religion, hosted by the Center for the Study of Information and Religion in the School of Library and Information Science at Kent State University.

Excellence in Performing Arts Research (University Libraries)
Excellence in Performing Arts Research is the official scholarly research journal of Kent State University’s Performing Arts Library Colloquium Series Excellence in Research Awards. This annual publication hosts selected series’ winning research presented by Kent State students at the Performing Arts Library Colloquium Series. It features both undergraduate and graduate papers.
The International Journal of First Aid Education (IJFAE) disseminates scholarly and field based works to advance the knowledge and practices of first aid educators and curriculum designers. Works published may also assist funders, organizations, and governments to identify networks and best practices to inform policy, laws, and measurements surrounding first aid for the preparedness of individuals, communities, and populations.
This peer-reviewed bi-annual scholarly journal publishes significant evidence-based first aid education research findings, articulates unique and innovative ideas in first aid, challenges current practices and proposed changes, and disseminates information about the latest and best use of educational technologies, modalities, and outcomes measurement. The journal seeks to inspire new researchers and network professionals around the world with the common purpose of increasing helping behaviors during health emergencies for volunteer and professional rescuers.

The Writing Center Review (Kent State University at Stark)
The Writing Center Review is an annually published journal which showcases excellence in student academic writing on the Kent State-Stark campus. It offers students the opportunity to be published and to share their academic writing with the students, faculty, and staff of the Kent-Stark community. To be considered for publication, submissions must have been completed in response to writing assignments made in classes at Stark during the previous calendar year. The journal strives to be as interdisciplinary as possible, and to include writing from many levels and in as many academic genres as possible. Submissions require a faculty member's endorsement of the work, and undergo blind review by selection committees made up of faculty members and Writing Center staff. To celebrate the release of the journal each May, the newly published student authors are invited to a reception where they are congratulated and presented with a certificate of achievement signed by the Writing Center's director, the nominating professor, and the Stark Dean. The journal is freely distributed to the Stark community, as well as posted online as part of Kent State University's Digital Commons.
Trends in Diversity (Division of Diversity, Equity & Inclusion)
Trends in Diversity is an open-access journal that provides a platform for intellectual dialogue and exploration of emerging and transformative issues of equity, inclusiveness and diversity in higher education. As such, Trends in Diversity seeks contributions of robust critical analyses that address the engagement and participation of traditionally marginalized populations in higher education, including but not limited to the following areas: race/ethnicity, class, gender, sexual identity and expression, and economics.
